What I like about me!

I promised that we would move on to an uplifting topic today so we shall. Today we will list a minimum of five things (list as many as you want but please list at least five)that we like about ourselves and we will dig a little deeper and list WHY we like these things about ourselves.

The hard work you did yesterday will be further explored later this week. But for today we will focus on the positive.

Sending you love,
Susan

  2. 6 Things I like about T.R.I.C.I.A.

T-Talents-I have many Talents. I'm a licensed cosmetologist, I'm a Wilton Certified Cake Decorating Instructor, I'm a good leader, I'm a great cook and I can reach the end of my nose with my tongue!

R-Responsible-I'm very responsible. I don't just talk the talk, I walk the walk. I believe in a "person is only as good as their word" and a hand shake still means something. Being responsible also means being trustworthy, loyal, honest and hardworking. (note: when I was making this list up, my husband said romantic! Aahhh)

I-Imaginative-I have a way of seeing things in my minds eye and then recreating them. I love to help my daughters with projects and give them other ideas to take things a step farther and think outside the box. When I was younger, I would just make up songs, but I never wrote any of them down.

C-Compassionate-I'm a very compassionate person. I'm able to feel empathy very easy for another person who is suffering, trying to cross the hurdles in life and feeling outside their comfort zone.

I-Integrity-What you see is what you get. I'm passionate about a number of things and stand up for what I believe in. I will fight over injustice to those I love. I'm not easily swayed by others views or opinions. I stand behind my own moral confictions.

A-Artistic-I'm very artistic on many realms. I love to take photographs. I love to decorate. I actually wanted to be a interior decorator when I was younger. I love to scrapbook. I love to paint. I love to try new things. Being artistic and creative keeps you young at heart!

  3. I am totally loving this work. I am finding a new voice within myself that had been wanting to come forward. Thank you Susan this is quite fun, even the hard stuff to write is adding to the overall good experience.

  4. What I loved most about this exercise was that I took the time to write about what I liked, as opposed to just jotting a quick list. I see that others are doing the same and it's uplifting.

  5. This one was difficult for me, until I reversed my thought process to what qualities I don't like in people.

I look forward to your promps each day.
