Passionante

Passionate is a BIG word full of meaning. One of the dictionary definition that I looked up is

pas·sion·ate

–adjective 1. having, compelled by, or ruled by intense emotion or strong feeling; fervid:

Today your prompt is to write about things you are passionate about. It's YOUR journal so write as many or as few as you wish. With little or a great deal of detail.

Those of you that know me know that I run a charity for children with cancer. My grandson was just diagnosed with autism. So as you can imagine I am an advocate and passionate about both illnesses.

I have several subjects and beliefs I am passionate about. How about you?

I also need to mention that I am leaving for Asia for business on Thursday and will be writing some of the prompts before I leave and sending them to my daughter Sarah..she will then post for me as she did the last time I was in Asia. I will still be on the blog daily checking but in order to get them to you in a timely manner she will be posting.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Sending you love,
Susan

  1. I am passioante about autism. I am one of about five people in my school district with a masters degree in autism (my district is the third largest in the state of Texas & I teach at one of the 15 highschools). I work as a home/parent trainer for families that are struggling with autism and behaviors. I work hard at keeping up with research in the field. I am fanatical about the subject.
I think my fascination with autism started when I was pregnant with my daughter. My friend's son was diagnosed a few weeks after my daughter was born, so I went through the diagnosis with her. Then my guilt built as she grew and out paced him. It has become an obsession...
