Just a few days away...

Spring is just a few days away. As the trees start to bud and the grass begins to turn green there is always a feeling of new beginnings. A fresh start.

Your prompt today is to write about an area of your life that you would like to have a new beginning in. Is this just a dream? or do you have the ability to make that new beginning happen?

It could be as simple as going back to school or as involved as picking up the phone to try and mend a relationship with a friend or family member that has been weighing for too long! It could be anything at all..after all..it's YOUR new beginning!

Have a day if new beginnings!

Sending Love,
Susan

  1. I want a new beginning in how I view numbers related to finances. I used to do well, would communicate about it without anxiety. Over the years communication has become something hard to do. I get angry, my insides make gurgling noises and I procrastinate. Procrastination leads me to having to rush to get what needs to be finished in the time aloud. The stress of this usually leads directly to a migrain.
I remember loving money, the smell and feel of it. Then I had a friend tell me that, that was wrong. That God says that the love of money is the root of all evil. I began to feel that I was evil. I shut down, trying to push away the love I had. Maybe all those years ago it wasn't love of money but the love of numbers? I do not want to displease God or my husband in anything. I want to make the numbers work without feeling anxiety over what I am doing. I haven't been perfect in how I spend or save money. I am however better than I have ever been BUT I want to be better than my best right now. I want to save for retirement so I will never have to give up the hobby that has become my life blood. Do I have the ability to make it happen? I hope so but I just don't know how to get there from here, without having someone make me feel more guilty than I already do or even be disappointed in me.

  2. I actually started this on Jan 1 with a new look at my life. Reconnecting with long lost friends, making amends for wrong doings and working on finding my authentic self.
